This is a place for anyone interested in ecology! Scientists, students, and just regular people. You don't need to know anything to be welcome here! If you want to talk and learn about plants and animals and how they interact to form the amazing things that we see around us in nature, this is the place for you. Here are some guidelines for posts:
Be friendly! We are all here because we love nature and want to understand it! Celebrate this love!
This forum is about ecology, not environmentalism. Our goal is to understand--and to prescribe action as a result of understanding. Political posts are welcome as long as they are oriented towards understanding ecology and understanding nature.
Ask questions! Is there anything you are dying to know about? Maybe someone else can help you out. Asking questions is how we advance our knowledge, both as individuals and as a society.
Share your observations. Ecology is all about observing and sharing what you observe. Tell us some neat things you've seen, heard of, or read about!
Advertising of communities is welcome too, so long as the community is related to ecology.
